Norrköping is a vibrant city in the Östergötland region of southeastern Sweden, known for its rich industrial heritage, beautiful waterfront, and thriving cultural scene. The city is situated along the Motala Ström river and offers a unique blend of historical architecture and modern innovation.

The city hosts Linköping University's Campus Norrköping, a hub for media technology, visualization, and computational research — making it an ideal location for EuroCG 2027.

EuroCG 2027 will take place at CNEMA, the City of Norrköping's own cinema and film centre. CNEMA sits in the riverside Industrial Landscape district, right next to Visualiseringscenter C and Linköping University's Campus Norrköping, and is a short walk (roughly 10 minutes) from Norrköping Central Station.

Beyond regular screenings of everything from classic films to live opera broadcasts, CNEMA runs a film and media lab for young filmmakers and is a member of the Europa Cinemas network. Its auditoriums come with professional projection and sound, which makes them a comfortable setting for talks and presentations.

By Air

The nearest major airport is Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN), approximately 170 km north of Norrköping. From Arlanda, you can reach Norrköping by train in approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.

Another convenient airport is the Linköping City Airport (LPI), with several KLM flights to and from Amsterdam per day. From LPI, you can travel to Norrköping either by taxi (30 mins) or by bus and then commuter train (1 hour).

By Train

Norrköping is well-connected by rail via SJ (Swedish Railways). Direct trains take approximately 1.5 hours from Stockholm Central. Trains from Malmö and Gothenburg are also available with connections. There are also trains between Germany and Stockholm that stop by Norrköping (Snälltåget, or SJ).

By Car

Norrköping is located along the E4 motorway, which runs between Stockholm and Malmö. The drive from Stockholm takes approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.
